Privacy Notice — Entriva

Entriva is a product of Praxiva (Pty) Ltd, a South African private company (CIPC reg 2026/392940/07).

We collect practice account data (practice name, contact details for the subscribing practice); and patient intake data submitted to a subscribing practice via WhatsApp (name, contact details, intake responses including symptoms or other clinical context the patient provides). Patient data is processed on behalf of the subscribing practice.

Praxiva is the responsible party for practice account data. For patient intake data, Praxiva acts as the operator (POPIA §21) on behalf of each subscribing practice, which remains the responsible party for its patients' personal information. Patient intake data often constitutes special personal information about health under POPIA §26 and is processed in accordance with HPCSA Booklet 9 guidance where applicable.

To provide WhatsApp-based patient intake services that route to the subscribing practice for its clinical and administrative use.

Anthropic processes some text data on our behalf as an operator under POPIA §21. Twilio provides WhatsApp messaging infrastructure; messages traverse Twilio infrastructure outside South Africa, with cross-border transfer safeguards in place per POPIA §72. Sub-processor list available on request.

Practices and patients may exercise POPIA access, correction, and deletion rights via privacy@praxiva.co.za.

Praxiva applies safeguards per POPIA §17, §19 and HPCSA Rule 5 where applicable.
